Before 6 a.m. this morning, there was a crash in Sleepy Hollow that appears to have involved a single car, a Chevy Monte Carlo SS (meaning, hefty horsepower for racing through the canyon, if that's what happened) though no details are known.
Down at the corner of Carbon Canyon Road and Rosemary Lane, a Sheriff's car stood watch as a tow truck loaded the badly-damaged, probably totaled, coupe onto the flat bed.
As the photos show, the front end was crushed in, primarily on the driver's side, and it looks like the airbag was deployed. The car was facing eastbound during towing, so it is assumed that was the direction in which it was heading when the journey ended.
A young guy, probably in his early twenties, was the driver, but, other than these vague bits of info, nothing else can be said about what may have happened.
